Amber Perry has been named the 2025 Barossa Young Ambassador following a nine-month leadership program that supports young people to grow their skills, connect with community, and contribute to the region.
The Barossa Young Ambassador Program is designed for young adults aged 18–25, with participants gaining hands-on experience in event planning, regional promotion, and cultural exchange. It runs alongside the Barossa Vintage Festival and includes the opportunity to represent the region locally and abroad.
As part of her ambassador role, Amber will travel to Grapevine, Texas with The Barossa Council this September to participate in GrapeFest, the largest wine festival in the southern United States. Tania Kalleske received the 2025 Excellence Award and a $2,000 travel voucher, sponsored by Rockford Wines.
The program is delivered by the Barossa Vintage Festival with support from Rockford Wines, Barossa Australia, and a broad network of community partners and volunteers.
