The Qantas Regional Grants program is offering $2 million in combined cash, flight and marketing support to help strengthen regional Australia. Now in its fourth year, the program is open to individuals, not-for-profits, community groups and organisations working on projects that deliver real benefits to regional areas.

There’s no set minimum or maximum amount per applicant. Instead, applicants nominate the support they need — whether that’s flights to get teams or services into regional communities, marketing to raise awareness of a regional project, or funding to deliver lasting local impact.

Examples of eligible projects include:

  • A teacher applying to build a new playground in a small town school
  • A sports club seeking support to attend a national competition
  • A charity expanding its services to rural and remote locations
  • An event organiser promoting regional tourism and community participation

Applications close 10 May 2025. All funding must clearly benefit regional communities, but applicants do not need to live in a regional area themselves.

Whether you’re running a grassroots project or scaling an established initiative, this grant could help take your impact further.
